✨ We are rebranding! Made For This Birth is becoming Grace Centered Births
As a DONA Certified Doula, I am committed to providing the highest level of continuous physical, emotional, and informational support. My practice is built on nearly 2 decades of professional caregiving and is guided by the rigorous standards of the world’s leading doula certifying organization.
Emotional Support: I provide a calming presence and constant encouragement to help you stay centered and confident.
Physical Comfort: I utilize evidence-based techniques—including position changes, massage, and breathing guidance—to help manage labor.
Informational Support: I offer resources and evidence-based information so you can make empowered decisions about your care.
Advocacy: I help you find your voice. I facilitate communication between you and your medical team to ensure your birth preferences are heard and respected.
Family Care: Drawing on my deep background in childcare, I support your partner and family to ensure the entire "village" feels prepared.
In accordance with DONA International’s Standards of Practice, my role is non-medical. To ensure your safety, I do not:
Perform clinical tasks (such as vaginal exams or fetal heart monitoring).
Provide medical diagnoses or give clinical advice.
Make decisions for you. I provide the information so that you can make the best choice for your journey.
I hold myself to the highest professional standards to give you total peace of mind:
DONA International Certified: Trained and vetted by the gold standard of doula care.
First Aid/CPR/AED Certified: Fully trained for Adult, Child, and Baby emergencies.
HIPAA Compliant: Your personal and medical information is kept strictly confidential.
Being DONA certified means I have undergone extensive training and peer review to ensure that the support I provide is safe, ethical, and effective. It means you aren't just getting a helper—you are getting a certified professional dedicated to your best possible birth outcome.
